The Lions Square Lodge is located at the Eagle Bahn gondola and the Born Free Lift at Lionshead. A restaurant is located on site and there is a pool and hot tub alongside the Gore River. The free Vail shuttle bus stops nearby. Vail Village is only a few minutes ride. Each room is equipped with a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and bath robes. If you desire 1 bed, 2 bed, or 3 bed condos are available at extra cost. www.lionsquare.com
Vail's summit is 11,570 feet and provides 3,450 feet of vertical drop. 15 High-Speed Quad's service 121 trails on over 5,000 acres. There is a new High-Speed Quad on Blue Ox/Highline. The Club has been going to Vail in early December for more that 15 years and our experience has been quite good. Vail seems to get snow earlier than most other resorts.
